We are renewing our commitment to resistance and healing together. This event is also the kickoff of our year-end fundraiser. Ticketing options represent the ways VL will continue the resistance of our ancestors in 2021 and beyond:
Refuge. Safety. Care. These conditions may feel far, but at Vigilant Love we recognize the urgency in cultivating hope, conviction, and healing. At "Rage and Refuge: Continuing the Resistance of our Ancestors," we welcome you with open arms to come gather and be strengthened by community.
Vigilant Love is remembering how much wisdom and strength our ancestors embodied to survive a multitude of difficult times – from the brutality of incarceration to the horrors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in WWII to the endless War on Terror today. No matter the outcome of the 2020 election, we remember that our ancestors are with us in the resistance against Islamophobia and state violence. We are aware that threats of profiling, surveillance, and criminalization will continue, and this is why we are committed to honoring that we all need space for healing and community as we continue the work of fighting for justice and liberation.
Join us on November 6th -- three days after election day -- to be held in community, regain clarity and strength for our next steps, and continue to strategize how we will persist. "Rage and Refuge: Continuing the Resistance of our Ancestors," will be a grounding, interactive community space. The evening will feature reflections & poetry, small & large group discussions, action items, Vigilant Love’s upcoming work, and more.

As a grassroots organization that relies largely on community donations, we hope you’ll be able to support us and our growing organization as we continue to resist in 2021 and beyond.
